Training & Education

Project ECHO is a model for providing specialty training in areas without access to local experts through a hub-and-spoke knowledge-sharing network. At the hub, the expert team uses multi-point videoconferencing to conduct virtual training with providers. ECHO has been shown to improve care and the confidence of clinical staff.

These workshops provide advanced palliative care training to nurses to improve their knowledge and skills in palliative nursing care.

Capacity Building Workshop are short training workshops delivered at local hospitals to create greater awareness about palliative care among health care providers. These workshop introduce participants to the basic skills and knowledge in the field of palliative care.
